As one of SCHF’s longest standing and largest donors, BIG W has been raising funds for SCHF, and specifically Sydney Children’s Hospital, since 1994, with a lifetime giving totalling $8.4 million.  

Their fundraising activities take place across stores state-wide, with three token campaigns in FY22. Including Big W’s festive annual Christmas Token Campaign which is held across all their NSW Stores from the 1st of December until the 24th of December. Alongside the SCHF Light Up Christmas Appeal, we are so grateful to Big W for hosting this annual appeal, which has become such a cherished tradition.

This is complemented by their workplace giving and community fundraising. In FY22, Big W raised $379,041 for SCHF, with year-on-year donations increasing markedly. To thank the Big W team for their support, SCHF recently hosted four Store Managers along with their top supporting team members for a thank you morning tea.  

 SCHF is so grateful and honoured to have a longstanding partnership with BIG W, spanning over 26 years. 
Over this time, BIG W have made a direct impact to the landscape of children’s healthcare, raising over $8.4 million!
