Help the ‘Stadium sell out for Sick Kids’ and Support Children’s Healthcare This Easter Long Weekend

This Easter long weekend, we are aiming to literally and virtually sell out the SCG, Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium with a collective of ~160,000 seats to represent ~169,000 children who receive care across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network each year.

SCHF and Venues NSW have been partners for over 21 years! To celebrate this long-standing partnership, this year we have decided to bigger and bolder than ever before - to unite multiple sports codes in our mission to change the future for sick kids.

Our goal?  “Sell out the stadiums” at $20 donation per seat or $10,000 for a corporate box — this could generate an incredible $3.2 million for SCHF.

While we don’t anticipate hitting that target in the first year, we see this event as Sydney’s newest marquee attraction on the sporting calendar, with the potential to grow year after year. The possibilities are truly endless…

By getting involved, you’re playing a key role in supporting the healthcare of these young patients and helping them get the care they deserve.

This initiative unites three major stadiums, three exciting sports, and one incredible goal: to help sick kids. The NRL, AFL, and A-League have come together with Venues NSW to support the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation in changing the future for sick kids.

How It Works
Simply make a $20 donation via https://www.schf.org.au/stadium-sell-out. Every dollar you donate goes directly to supporting frontline children’s healthcare, from hospital wards to treatment rooms, research labs, and outreach programmes.

Your donation helps bring the power of sport to kids who can’t be there, with clubs like South Sydney Rabbitohs, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Sydney Swans, and Western Sydney Wanderers rallying together to make a difference.

The Impact of Your Donation
The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network treats over 160,000 children each year, which is equivalent to the capacity of the SCG, Accor Stadium, and CommBank Stadium combined! This exciting new initiative shines a spotlight on the vital work done by SCHN and the number of children it cares for each year.

This campaign highlights the power of sports fans coming together for a common cause – and it’s all in support of making sure kids get back to doing what they love, including cheering from the stands one day.

Get Involved
Let’s make this Easter Long Weekend one to remember. Add $20 to your ticket purchase, and together, we can make a lasting difference for sick kids across Sydney. Thanks to Venues NSW for partnering with SCHF to create this opportunity to support children’s healthcare.

Help us reach our goal and be part of something special – getting kids back to being kids.
