Light Up Xmas Appeal Broadcast

SCHF wrapped up 2022 with our Light Up Xmas Appeal, raising an incredible $11,814,358. These much-needed funds will help provide kids access to the best possible healthcare, whenever and wherever they need it.

Throughout the campaign, as well as during our Light Up Xmas Appeal broadcast, we shared inspirational stories of sick kids and their families and clinicians. We are grateful to the wonderful volunteers who took donations over the phone throughout the afternoon.

Lights for Kids was a community event across Sydney, with over 85 houses participating with some incredible light displays, raising over $214,000.

The Sydney Markets Cherry Auction, which auctioned off the first box of Bitreriot Cherries for the season, also raised $80,000 for SCHF. Thanks to Robert Lo of Pro Bros Providore, who placed the winning bid of $60,000 to become the 2022 Cherry King, and Sydney Markets Credit Services, who donated an additional $20,000.

SCHF was also the chosen charity partner for the Coogee Carols, with hundreds of people flocking to Coogee for the festivities and donating to the appeal.

Thanks to the support of the Movement of Many, SCHF can continue to go all in for kids’ health.
