The Movement of Many is made up of approximately 70,000 members and is growing every day. They are the thinkers, doers, planners, and creators, the helping hands and the guiding lights that make Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) what it is.
If you are a donor, have supported us or been involved with SCHF, you are a member of the Movement of Many.
The Movement of Many is symbolized with a special hand/heart gesture, which you would have already seen being made in many of our photos. The hand/heart sign is inspired by the heart in our logo which is all about giving. It symbolizes support for sick kids and is made at events or in photos and videos shared on social media. We use it so that members of the Movement of Many can recognise each other and spread the message of going all in for kids’ health far and wide.
There are many ways that you can get involved with SCHF and join the Movement of Many.
Give – One donation supporting all sick kids, no matter where, no matter what. Whether it be an online donation to an appeal, or a regular monthly gift – a group called The Kids Army.
Do – Get involved by joining an event, becoming a corporate partner, starting workplace giving or volunteering with SCHF.
Fundraise – Raise money for sick kids by organising or supporting a fundraising event. Whether you raise money on your own or as part of a group, by doing something sporty or something fun and different, there are lots of different ways you can get involved, and we’re always available to help get you started, promote what you’re doing and reach your fundraising goal.
Movement of Many member Amanda Lacey says, “We support SCHF as we believe in the work they do: they change lives, every day. Children make the world a better place, and we feel honoured to be able to contribute.”
Show you’re part of the Movement of Many by doing the hand/heart sign and using the hashtag #AllInForKidsHealth
