Streamers are the next generation of philanthropists – join our Movement of Many and be a part of Sydney Children’s Hospital’s Foundation’s Stream Team!
After the incredible success of our 2021 Stream Team, we are asking our community to comeback and press play for sick kids this tax time. Over 40 individuals and teams came together to raise nearly $50,000 in our first Stream Team, including teams from Atlassian, Salesforce and UNSW.
Whether you’re streaming a video game tournament on Twitch, a Q & A session between teams, a cooking class on Facebook, a sing-a-long on Instagram or maybe your latest dance moves on TikTok, just press play and you’ll be helping sick kids.
You can stream after hours or encourage your whole workplace to get involved by volunteering your time for SCHF and streaming your play to get kids back to doing what they do best – being a kid!
“During the pandemic this new streaming initiative became my main focus...it helps me because I can get together and play with people I can no longer meet in hallways of the office. Organising this event during a lock down was also good for my mental health - it's a project that is both fun and rewarding and it can be done remotely. And in the end, it will bring joy to a lot of people.” - Martin, Senior Developer at Atlassian
All funds raised during your stream will ensure all sick kids have access to the best possible healthcare, whenever and wherever they need it. Kids in hospital will never get the lost hours of their childhood back but being a part of the SCHF Stream Team can help get as many kids back to living an extraordinary life outside of hospital.
