Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF), one of the largest and most trusted children’s health charities in the country, is proud to announce the launch of its new brand campaign.

The campaign, which centres around changing the lives of sick kids, aims to create a movement to change the landscape of children’s healthcare by highlighting the vital role that donors, supporters and volunteers play in improving the health and wellbeing of all kids.

The creative execution places SCHF’s Movement of Many – the name given to the Foundation’s community of donors, supporters, volunteers and partners – at the heart of the campaign. Every person featured is a real-life member of the Movement of Many.

The brand video features the compelling story of 14-year-old patient Ollie, one of more than 158,000 sick kids whose lives have been transformed by the generosity of donors.

Through a mix of digital and traditional media, SCHF aims to raise awareness of the importance of going all in for kids’ health and inspire more people to get involved.

“We are thrilled to launch this new campaign and shine a spotlight on the incredible impact that donors, supporters and volunteers have on children’s health,” said Kate Ferguson, General Manager of Engagement at SCHF.

“For over four decades, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation has been committed to elevating the best possible care to children and families going through medical journeys, but we simply couldn’t do it without the Movement of Many. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to help make a difference, and we hope that this campaign will inspire more people to join us.”

Launching in April 2023, the campaign will challenge the typical charity narrative, channelling the positive and empowering emotions people should feel when supporting an important cause. By engaging with communities and encouraging them to take an active role in improving children’s health, SCHF aims to create a movement that will drive positive change for all sick kids, no matter where, no matter what.

“We know that our Movement of Many is the lifeblood of our organisation, and we are so grateful for their support. We hope to show donors just how much of a difference they can make in the lives of sick kids, while changing the landscape of children’s health to create a brighter future, not only for kids today, but generations to come,” added Kate.

Thanks to the ongoing commitment from supporters, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation raised over $76million in support of Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Kids Research, Bear Cottage and the Newborn and paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS) in FY22.

The brand video will be released as part of SCHF’s marketing rollout across free-to-air TV, digital and social as well as out-of-home channels. It is available in 60, 30 and 15 second spots.
