Every child in hospital is a childhood on hold. Instead of playdates there are appointments, instead of sleepovers there are stays and instead of firsts, there can be lasts. The 158,000 children that come through the doors of our state’s children’s hospitals just want to live their healthiest lives possible. 

Every year, we support thousands of sick kids and their families requiring care for many different reasons – from stitches and broken arms to treatment for cancers, chronic illnesses and rare diseases. We’re here for all kids from inner cities to outer suburbs, regional, rural and beyond, for those who can be cured and for those who just want a fighting chance – because no child should have to go through this, but those who do deserve our all.

Our upcoming Sydney Sick Kids Appeal is all about working together to give sick kids the childhood they deserve – one where they get to be a kid first and a patient second. In that spirit, we wanted to share with you the impact you have made on the lives of thousands of children so far.
