About Gold Dinner

Gold Dinner is one of the most exclusive and celebrated charity galas in Australia—and the largest children’s hospital foundation gala in the world.

Gold Dinner is not just a night of luxury and glamour; it is a transformative event that is rewriting the future for children in need of life-saving treatment and care. Dubbed Australia’s answer to the Met Gala, this iconic evening raises vital funds to ensure that every sick child has access to the very best medical care, whenever and wherever they need it.

For 27 years, Gold Dinner has attracted Australia’s most influential leaders, celebrities, fashion icons, renowned business owners and entrepreneurs, creating a powerful network of changemakers. With your support, we can continue to push the boundaries of medical research, accelerate the development of life-saving treatments, and build cutting-edge facilities to give children everywhere a brighter, healthier future.

Since its inception in 1997, Gold Dinner has raised $90 million for Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation. In 2024, Gold Dinner raised a record-breaking $33.4 million.
