I’ve chosen to raise much needed funds for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation
Cooper was perfect in every way and was such a happy little boy, however he suffered from a terminal heart condition which tragically meant he wasn't with us for long and sadly passed away in March after 40 magical days together.
Soon after Cooper was born we moved into Bear Cottage, an unbelievable children's hospice in Manly who cared for our whole family, kept us all together and helped us make the very most of the little time we had.
Bear Cottage is truly a remarkable place, filled with remarkable people. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for our family and for enabling us to spend every precious minute of every day devoted to our little baby boy, Cooper James.
I'm running this marathon with our friend Nicola Hale as a way of giving back so that Bear Cottage can continue to support families with the love and care that we so gratefully received.
