I’ve chosen to raise much needed funds for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation

On 24th November 2016 our precious 6-year-old daughter/beloved sister Aisha succumbed to complications stemming from a Bone Marrow transplant to treat Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). 

But this is not a story of sadness. It's a story of hope. 

Amazing progress has already been made in the treatment of childhood leukaemia but more can still be done. With continued research, the goal of 100% treatment success rates can be realised. 

In the first year since Aisha passed, thanks to the wonderful generosity of family, friends and strangers, we managed to raise over AUD$110,000 which was directed towards research for paediatric AML and Bone Marrow Transplantation.

All funds collected via this page go directly to the Children's Hospital at Westmead and specifically to this cause.

Aisha's life was too short but it was a life full of joy and love. Anyone who knew her will always remember her larger than life personality, that beaming smile, the cheeky wit and the loving hugs.

In that spirit, we ask that you contribute to supporting cancer research so that no family has to experience the immense loss that we have.
