Earlier this year, we were admitted to The Children's Hospital for a week-long stay.
It was stressful, daunting and at times simply sad. But the experience clarified to us how privileged we are to have access to such a high level of healthcare for our child during the most vulnerable moments of parenting. A privilege that should be afforded to all those who need it.
