Raising Awareness for Neurofibromatosis
The NF Clinic at The Children's Hospital at Westmead
Every year, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation help support over 158,000 kids and their families that require care for many different reasons across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network– from stitches and broken bones to chronic illnesses and rare diseases.
This May, we would like to shine a light on one of those rare diseases and some of the amazing work The Children’s Hospital at Westmead is doing to support children and families diagnosed. One of those rare diseases is, Neurofibromatosis (NF), which is a genetic condition that causes tumours to form on nerve cells throughout the body, affecting more than 10,000 Australians. Your donation will help support the work being done within the NF Clinic at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and help the hundreds of children and families who are seen.
Donate to the NF clinic today to help ensure children suffering from NF continue receiving the best care whenever and wherever they need it.
