On Thursday, 20 October Coogee Bay Hotel held their 25th annual golf day which raised a record breaking $252,314 for SCHF. Over the last 28 years of support, CBH has funded specialist surgeons, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, the building of a state-of-the-art minimally invasive operating theatre, Short Stay Surgical Ward, Neurology Fellowship program, and most recently committed to raising $1m for the redevelopment at Randwick.

In addition to their tremendous financial commitment, Coogee Bay Hotel also donate 100 room nights per year for patients and families who have no accommodation in Sydney which over time has accumulated to over $200,000 in support. We cannot thank the Coogee Bay Hotel team enough for their ongoing support and commitment to improving the lives of hundreds of sick kids.

For some kids, Christmas is far from what it should be. Instead of playdates, there are appointments and instead of sleepovers, there are stays. This year, Coogee Bay hotel will support the Light up Xmas Appeal by dollar matching every donation up to the value of $150,000 on the SCHF Light up Xmas Appeal broadcast day which will air on channel 9 on Saturday 17 December 2022. We thank Coogee Bay Hotel for their ongoing support in continuing to make an impact in paediatric healthcare and going all in for sick kids in hospitals this Christmas.
