Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) has joined the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest as one of two new charity partners, alongside Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).  

SCHF is one of the country's largest and most trusted kids' health charities, helping all sick kids, no matter where, no matter what. 

Lauren Kara-George, Corporate Relationship Manager at Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation said: “We’re delighted to be a part of the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest to help make a difference and continue to make a positive impact on the lives of sick children and their families. 

“From working closely with the Steggles Charity Nest, it’s clear that the two brands have charity in their heart. We’re honoured to be a part of the program and work alongside other incredible charities.” 

Steggles has been providing Australians with quality poultry products for nearly 100 years, but its impact has gone above and beyond the family dinner table, extending into Australian communities through initiatives such as the Charity Nest. 

The Charity Nest is more than just a fundraising initiative, it is an opportunity for Steggles, Roosters players and their fans to show support for the wider community. For every point the Roosters win by Steggles donates $1,000 and the Roosters donate $250 to the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest. 

Each Sydney Roosters team member plays a huge part in helping to raise funds for the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest, especially when building connections with the children and families in each of the charity institutions. 

Since launching in 2010, the Charity Nest initiative has raised $4.9million for its partners, which aims to support children and their families doing it tough.
